Welcome to all of you who are visiting us toda y ! Coffee and tea are served in the kitchen following worship. Sunday school is offered for adults in our fellowship hall and sanctuary; for high school youth in the house adjacent to the church; and for junior youth and children in the basement. Nursery care is available during our worship service and Sunday school hour. Children's bulletins are also available on the ledge just outside the sanctuary. May you have a meaningful time of worship and fellowship.

The Elders and Pastors are working to revitalize and refine our Connection Group Ministry . Next Sunday, February 13 , those who are serving as Connection Group leaders are invited to attend a meal and meeting following the Sunday school hour. More details are in your church mailbox. Please let Pamela know whether or not you are able attend.

The Possess the Land Committee has compiled a report from the January 19 meeting. This report will be in the mailboxes on February 13 and we will discuss it the evening of February 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Consider joining us on a `spiritual journey' to CRAVE GOD . The sign-up sheet is in the foyer, waiting for your name. We want to order the books soon, so we can start the study by mid February. This will be a one/two hour study for six weeks. Book title ``MADE TO CRAVE''.

Visit Day at Bethany : Students in grades 5-11 interested in exploring Bethany Christian Schools can shadow a Bethany student on Monday, Feb. 21, 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Parents are invited to a 7:45-8:15 a.m. conversation with Principal Allan Dueck, staff, and parents of current students, followed by an optional tour the school. Looking for a way to serve while sharing your faith? Menno-Hof in Shipshewana , IN , needs individuals and couples in agreement with Anabaptist values and beliefs to serve as host and/or hostess during July and August 2011. Responsibilities include conducting tours and some light housekeeping. Menno-Hof offers visitors from around the world accurate information about the faith and life of the Amish and Mennonites. The Window is currently in need of cereals, canned soups, corn, and tomato products (diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, etc…). Donations would be greatly appreciated.

Tickets for I Never Saw Another Butterfly go on sale Monday, Feb. 7, at Bethany Christian High School . Based upon a true story, the play follows Raja Englanderova's experience as a young girl living in the Jewish ghetto of Terezin during the Holocaust. Although Raja's story is permeated with loss and anguish, it is also infused with love and hope. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 26, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and may be reserved by calling the school at 574 534-2567.

The Goshen College Chorale directed by Assistant Professor of Music Scott Hochstetler will explore choral settings of the Psalms from medieval chant through the modern period at the Goshen College Afternoon Sabbatical on Tuesday, Feb ruary 8 at 1 p.m. in the Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall. Composers will include Bourgeois, Monteverdi, Hassler, Brahms, Bernstein, Ives and more .

You're invited to the 2011 Mennonite Central Committee Great Lakes annual gathering on February 25-26, at Kern Road Mennonite Church in South Bend, Indiana. Join fellow MCC supporters from across the region as we explore the theme ``A table of sharing'' in relation to MCC's work around the world. Highlights include a peace and justice hymn sing with Mary Oyer, a variety of MCC workshops and the chance to hear from Arli Klassen, MCC Executive Director. s our congregational representative, Weldon Friesen, will be attending these sessions and would welcome anyone to join him. You are invited to bring donations of twin-size winter weight comforters or blankets to the Saturday session . If hand made, they should be knotted with crochet cotton . OF SPECIAL INTEREST CONTINUED…

On March 5th, Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light will publicly launch in Indianapolis with the objective of engaging one eighth of Indiana households to significantly reduce their reliance on unclean energy within three years. The launch, ``Inspiring Creation Care Actions across Indiana'', will feature an interfaith service, engaging presentations, and facilitated sessions. The RETA 2011 Fundraising Banquet will be held Friday, March 11
, at Maple City Chapel. Former Indianapolis Colts punter, Hunter Smith, will be the guest speaker. More information can be found on the bulletin board in the hallway.

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Virginia Hershberger in the passing of her brother, Robert Fisher. He died on January 26 and a memorial service was held last Sunday at College Mennonite Church.
