Welcome to all of you who are visiting us today ! Coffee and tea are
served in the kitchen following worship. Sunday school is offered for    
adults in our fellowship hall and sanctuary; for high school youth in the house adjacent to the church; and for junior youth and children in the basement. Nursery care is available during our worship service and Sunday school hour. Children's bulletins are also available on the ledge just outside the sanctuary. May you have a meaningful time of worship
a nd fellowship.

Greeters this morning are Delbert and Betty Yoder, Esther Yoder and Ann Jones.

The co mmunity Lenten service this evening will be at the F irst United Methodist Church, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Gordon Henke, pastor of River of Life Fellowship, will be the speaker and the handbell choir from the Methodist Church will provide the special music. Child care will be provided at the service.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Next Sunday The community Lenten service next Sunday evening will
be at Pathway Assembly of God, at 6:00 p.m. Terry Diener, pastor of
Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, will be the speaker. The North-
ridge High School Concert Choir will provide the special music.
Mar. 19 ``Ladies' Night In'' at the church. This will be similar to the
ones that we have had in the past and will be a time that you can work
on any hobby or project that you have, such as a photo album, scrap -
book, knitting, etc., or you can just come and enjoy the fellowship.
We
will begin around 5:00 p.m., but it will be very informal so you
can come and go as you wish. Please bring finger foods to share with
everyone.
OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Blood Pressure Readings There will again be an opportunity for you to have your blood pressure checked this morning, in the foyer, before the worship service and also between the worship service and Sunday school.

Choir rehearsals for the Easter season will begin this afternoon, at 4:00 p.m.

In your mailbox this morning you will find an affirmation ballot concerning the reinstatement of Bonnie Roderick as an elder. Pleasant Oaks members have also received a ballot since we are worshiping together and the elders are shepherding everyone. Thank you for taking the time to fill out this ballot. The ballots should be returned to the `` E lder Ballot'' box in the church office by Mar. 21.

Mark your calendars , Vacation Bible School is on its way! June 14-18, 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This year we will be embarking on a ``High Seas Expedition to Explore the Mighty Love of God.'' Keep on the lookout for more details!

The 19th Annual Mennonite Youth Choir Festival will be held this a fternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Goshen College Sauder Concert Hall. A prelude by Anna Joy Hagen, a local harpist, will begin at 1:30 p.m. The festival has brought together young people in grades 3-8 from Indiana, Michigan and Ohio to make music together and to praise God through singing. Tickets for the concert are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Audrey Graber from our congregation is participating in the festival.
OF SPECIAL INTEREST (continued)
Thank you to everyone who participated in the informational survey regarding a possible name change for our congregation that took place on Jan. 24. The results from the survey indicated that a majority of persons were in favor of staying with our current First Mennonite Church name at the present time. More details concerning the results of the survey were included with the Feb. 4 church council minutes.

A Hacienda Day will be held on Monday , Mar. 8 to benefit Bethany Christian Schools. Hacienda will donate 20% of purchases for food, gift certificates and carry-outs all that day with the presentation of a token. Tokens cannot be distributed inside or outside the restaurant that day. The t okens have been placed in your mailbox .

Menno-Hof's second event in 2010 emphasizing believer's baptism in the 485th anniversary year of the firstAnabaptist baptisms, will be the showing of the movie, ``The Radicals,'' on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 20 and 21, at 7:00 p.m., at Menno-Hof. This story of early Anabaptists, Michael and Margaretha Sattler, will cause viewers to stop and think how much theirfaith really means to them. Popcorn will be served and a free-will offering will be received. Youth groups are encouraged to attend. Call 260-768-4117 or e-mail for group reservations.
